Father of the Wicked Witch. His partner was killed when Wicked was very young. He and Wicked lived in a traveling caravan deep in the woods of Happily Ever After ville. The Wiz would involve young Wicked in all his cons and taught her all his tricks early, using her cuteness to lure customers in and gain their trust. He taught her to resent the success of other’s and that every someone else possessed was to be seen as something she did not. He talked about them becoming so wealthy one day that they wouldn’t have to work anymore and would live in a giant house and be worshipped by everyone for their superiority.

Because of his lifestyle as a con-man their financial status was constantly in flux, something that grew to annoy Wicked very much in her teen and young adult years as not every job they did was a big success and he would sometimes spend too much time planning for jobs and they’d end up running out of money. Both were also very bad at saving and weren’t the most responsible in how they spent. At times he could be very possessive of her, not liking her dating anyone as he believed it meant he’d lose his partner in crime. He tried to sabotage all her relationships with other people and guilt her into staying loyal to him.

One night while they were out on a heist to steal one of the King’s jewels, they’re immediately ambushed by the guards. Wicked revealed that she was the one that called them and that she had grown tired of her and her father’s partnership because everything they possess is everything she doesn’t possess alone, echoing his words to her. Wicked manages to escape with the loot while her father is arrested.

Several weeks into his imprisonment, the Wiz, by all appearance, was destroy in an accidental fire. This however was not the case as he had discovered Ivanka's secret to invincibility previously and became a ghost. He was able to maintain this form for years until Shari Spotter, fulfilling an ancient prophecy, slay the Tempest program manifested in the form of a dragon. When the dragon was slain, the Wiz was able to absorb some of the energy it released and bring himself back to the world of the living.

With this new life, and a magical mind controlling scepter, he returned to Frogsnorts with the intention of taking over. The recent passing of Stumblesnore allows him to do so realitively easily and Shari returns to find the entire student body beholden to the new headmaster.

• Sounds a bit like the Wizard of Oz from 'Wicked' and acts a bit like Dr. Facilier from 'Princess and the Frog'.
• Has a tendency to call people 'sonny boy' or 'baby doll'.
• Because of his buck teeth he speaks with a slight whistle like Gopher from 'Winnie the Pooh'.
