Andy is a quiet, somewhat shy boy. He's the unlikeliest type of person to want to become a camp counselor, yet here he is.
He can come off as awkward and a bit of a loner, though doesn't push others away when they approach him. His skills are less useful for playing with campers, but rather teaching them skills and overall helping look after the maintenance of the campsite.
Now that he's spent two months with the same group of people, he's actually warmed up quite a bit!
Andy has black hair with a warm tint and red eyes. His skin is white, without being porcelain white. He has thick brows, with thick hair.
He wears baggy clothes which can alter his appearance to others; he's rather skinny and a bit fit under his clothing.
Andy also has one ear pierced. It's his right ear (your left), with a single black stud.
Initially, Andy comes off as uninterested and unsociable. However, he's just a bit shy and feels out of his element here at Pine Ridge Valley. When others approach him, he at least attempts to speak to them. He's the sort that enjoys sitting with the group, but just watching rather than being in the midst of conversation.
He's also surprisingly honest, being unable to lie on the spot.

Andy is born to a small family of a mother, father and a younger brother. They're from a lower-middle class neighborhood, living in an old house in Colorado.
His family is rather traditional. His parents worry about his interests and taste in music. In the past, he conformed to their liking. Since his late teen years though, it's become a point of contention that has resulted in a disagreement between himself and his parents.
He applied for a bunch of jobs, but was surprised to hear back from Pine Ridge Valley. Andy accepted it immediately, considering it was a sleep-away camp and he wouldn't have to deal with his family for a couple of months.
Andy has always been a shy child, from the very beginning. Like nearly any other child, he was seen sporting a big smile and wanting to play! Though, he grew up and eventually started grappling with himself.
His interests splintered away from his friend's, and he started hanging out with a crowd his parents weren't the happiest with. Andy sometimes broke rules, like drinking or smoking in high school.
Growing up, he managed to convince his parents to get him a guitar. He didn't play it as often as he wanted to, but he can strum a few tunes. He prefers listening to music, he found out fast.
Andy is the head of the Owl Cabin at Pine Ridge Valley. He's noted to not be the best at conversation or engaging the kids, but seems to be quite the handyman. It's resulted in an embarrassing nickname- Handy Andy.
For the record, he didn't come with these skills. He picked them up as he worked on things around the summer camp.
Andy's roommate. Thankfully, Richie is a pretty chatty guy so he's been rather easy to get along with. It's also rather obvious that Richie is interested in Andy- not that Andy's against it, he discovered. The romantic interest seems to be mutual, and they've even kissed before.
Still, nothing is official between them. Yet.
