General ownership rules are outlined below!
🐟 ALL SEALOMIMI MUST HAVE CREATOR CREDIT SENT TO Sealomimis !!
This will be proof of your Sealomimi's authenticity within the species! As long as the profile has this, then you can trust the Sealomimi is official.
It is recommended all Sealomimis owners have a TH account, and to avoid selling/trading/etc to off-site users or deleting the character's profile without notice.
🐟 It is REQUIRED to update the Masterlist when a Sealomimi exchanges hands.
Please refer to the masterlist for proof of ownership, and make sure the current owner is the owner listed here before obtaining a Sealomimi secondhand to avoid scams!
🐟 Co-ownership will not be officially recognized by the group.
🐟 You are free to customize and storybuild your characters however you wish in any appropriate context!
You do not have to keep your character within lore of the species.
🐟 RESALE RULES:
You may trade and gift your Sealomimis freely. You may only resell/voucher for a higher price than obtained for if your Sealomimi has NEW artwork YOU yourself have obtained for them. This covers both commissioned and quality personal art.
Trades, gifts, low effort sketches, art the Sealomimi previously came with, or, if DTA adopt, DTA art shouldn't be factored.
🐟 For design edit and redesign rules:
Sealomimis may be edited as long as the new design remains recognizable to the old design and doesn't look like a completely new MYO. If a redesign looks significantly distinct (such as they can pass as a sibling design instead), then please check in the design just in case!
You may edit the free-for-all traits freely without mod approval: such as changing hairstyle, hair length, outfits, gender, or any other minor detail shift.
To add new or swap for another higher rarity traits on your Sealomimi, you will need Trait Upgrades. To apply a trait upgrade, you will need to draw updated artwork and send it in to Strabi to approve!
In the meantime, while downgrading traits and adding new Common traits is free to do at any time, because it alters traits, it will also require approval!
If you are editing artwork that you did not originally create, you must also submit proof you asked for permission from the artist!
