• Opal is a merchant that travels between aquatic and land markets to trade for rare or difficult-to-find items and ingredients that sell well in these disconnected markets. She has a keen eye for a good deal and a talent for linguistics that makes her effective at communicating with land mhoats as much as she does with her aquatic brethren.
• When not trading among the markets she tends to seek out old ruins, sunken ships, or drift along coastal waterways for treasures lost to time especially those of magic origin. She has an existing relationship with Retro in which she will bring broken magical items to have them restored for a portion of the profits or in exchange for a fee if she believes it will sell better in aquatic markets.
• Is extremely fond of her sister Clara Luna, but is troubled by her sister's clinginess and hopes she will seek out her apprenticeship soon. She will miss her sister's regular company but knows it is important that she finds independence and becomes her own person without her influence to restrict that potential.
