Malcolm is an eternally calm and deadpan individual, surprisingly straight-laced despite his wealth of tattoos and piercings. After he was orphaned, Malcolm avoided absorption into the foster care system by lying about his age and working as an assistant to a local tattoo artist in order to support himself, something that forced him to grow up and become a very shrewd money handler well before most boys his age. By the time he reached his late teens, he had already earned his license and saved up enough money to take over the tattoo parlour after his mentor retired. Not long before he made it his shop, he found a little Dainty lost and shivering on the streets, and like any good samaritan he brought them home. At first, he only intended to keep the lost Dainty safe until he could find their parents or caretakers, but upon discovering that Dainties were illegally trafficked in a part of the city not far from where he found the child, it became clear that for the foreseeable future, he would be playing Host. Despite his best intentions and the high degree of care that he took to raise Tevy right, he ended-up becoming incredibly spoilt, and now Tevy knows exactly how to play into Malcolm's weaknesses and exploit his soft spot for him. Although Tevy regularly teases and taunts him, and seems to make a game out of trying to get on his nerves, Malcolm has an incredible level of patience and a deep affection for him [although he's reserved about showing that affection in public]. After years of fending off Tevy's steadily less innocent flirtation, their relationship has recently become a little bit more complicated.

  Positive Character Traits

► Meticulous. He will take his time and make sure to execute ANY task with care and precision, always seeking to achieve the highest quality results.
► Cleanliness is a high priority. He keeps a clean home, a clean trim, and a clean workplace. He also ALWAYS smells like fresh soap and cologne because, despite being a smoker, he takes great care to wash himself and his clothing incredibly regularly. He has a weird habit of taking his shirt off and stepping out on the balcony to smoke- he says that it keeps the smell from getting into his clothes, and maybe that's right?

  Negative Character Traits

► Anal-retentive. He can get to be so particular about the precision and perfection of the work that he does that it can take him AGES to get anything done, and it can be hard to wrestle him away from whatever he's working on and get him to take a break, even if he's been at it for hours and hours.
► Not a very good cook. Despite having cared for himself and his Dainty for years without any outside assistance, he's only good at preparing a small handful of the same simple meals. It didn't take long for Tevy to become frustrated with their limited dietary options, and to take up the mantle of cooking for the family himself.
