• Pup is very young and spends much of his time with either of his parents learning what he needs to know to survive out in the waters as an aquatic mhoat and how to communicate with other land mhoats so he has a more open set of options for the future.
• Pup's brother, Lucien returns home weekly to spend time with him so they can go out and do shared activities, though they often struggle to find activities they both enjoy as Pup is not fond of going too far inland and Lucien doesn't enjoy the beaches very much.
