Profile

First born of Nyria and Dante, along with her twin brother, Loki, Devontae, sadly can be quite troubled. Despite being a pureblood, high ranking vampire by birth, Deva experienced the worst of her families traditions and values. As a result, she can be often clingy, insecure, and very fearful. Though fortunately she's still so very vibrant; playful, silly, or even bratty if you ask her brother. And also horribly clumsy at both fighting and flirting but at least she's trying, right? Right? Eh. It will certainly depend on who's asked.

Details:

- Doesn't like to let her ears show. Won't even discuss why and actually gets distressed if it's mentioned.

Playful and mischievous, especially loves to get a rise out of her twin brother, though really anyone she cares about can be fair game. Whether she "wins" these silly games depends on the target, however. Her brother is easy, but Wolfe? Always seems to be one step ahead. At least it's all in good fun.

- As mentioned, she can be highly clingy. In fact she's very afraid of being alone and as a result she'll keep by anyone that she trusts that would have her.

- Obsessed with dogs. Absolutely loves them, all breeds. Even "breeds" that are really just a race of deadly reapers and not actually a pet and... Deva, stop petting the dog shaped reaper! You are giving him concerns!

- High tendency to being insecure and fearful. If she's uncomfortable she ends up short tempered, lashing out as a form of defense mechanism, not that all unlike a cornered dog. She may come off as bratty, and often freezes up in the most crucial of moments. She is trying, though just building confidence is an obstacle all it's own.

- The men in her life are all very protective and she likes that just fine. Though for the sake of bettering her Wolfe is trying to teach her independence. It's a rather trying work in progress.

- Funny enough, in all things but especially when it comes to flirting, she seems at her most confident when she completely is butchering her attempt. Success makes her a flustered mess.

Connections:

- Dante: Her father, and largely responsible for her turning out relatively okay. He was always there for her. And though he could not truly shield her from the family's insanity as a single father, he was a source of love and protection, and even a bit of confidence.

Nyria: Her mother was sadly ripped away from her at a young age. Though fortunately reunited, by this time Deva is an adult, and somewhat afraid to approach her mother. Clinging all her life to precious few memories, she struggles with seeing her mother as some ideal, and one that she is not good enough for yet. That said, a lot of Deva's playful nature seems to have passed down from her mother.

- Loki: Twin brother, and one of the few people she doesn't feel insecure around. In fact with him she can be a total brat, messing with him and showing a playful almost trickster streak. But she also cares a lot about him and would jump to his defense, even if she's the one more likely to need it.

- Wolfe: When her father hired her to help him find Nyria, Deva immediately latched on to Wolfe as the first female role model in her life. This was not something Wolfe wanted, it was bad enough an ex hired her to find his current wife but... maybe Deva grew on her. Or maybe Loki did. Maybe even both. Regardless, Wolfe is not afraid to go hard on Deva, to push her to actually stand on her own feet, and Deva respects her for this, even if she much prefers to just have the men guard her thank you. Also Wolfe loves dogs. Truly best friend material.

- Crowe: Wolfe's brother, and where Wolfe helped Deva to start to experience more, it was Crowe that truly pulled her out her shell. Playful, flirtatious, but also very respectful and caring, he is a lot of what Deva needs. Even when he's flustering her, there is a certain happiness in Deva's life that is now so obvious to have been missing before.
