He's a lil bit tsun but very nice usually

Has a huge hardcore crush on Haruko but is afraid of being anything more than friends with her, but he's always concerned about her safety + happiness + health

The idea I had for him, as stated in chat because I am too lazy to refine right now: 

I wanted to put him in Pier so I just pictured like him being a creation of Pine's because Pine was like "I like humans a lot and I don't like how Dorothea made it so that they just disappear when they die" so Pine is like "I'm gonna make this guy and he's gonna collect the dead but like in fragments"

so Thanh exists

and he collects humans' glass souls and assembles them in his room and like

if you touch one you get all the memories of the person who the glass shards used to be

and only Thanh is mentally prepared to be able to take that so he ends up with his room completely made of ever-shifting stained glass

so it also allows him to be alone when he wants because you can't go into his room without some sort of covering on your feet and hands to protect yourself

Also how fragmented your soul ends up after death (like in a bunch of pieces, only a little cracked, ect) correlates to how you died and in what state of mind

So the scared victim of a serial killer would be a bunch of little pieces

A guy who passed naturally of old age and with no regrets would have an unbroken sheet of glass

The more fragmented a soul, the less "legible" it is so like it's harder to accurately read and comprehend its memories without losing your mind and it's harder for Thanh to get clear responses out of it, so he prefers full sheets or only slightly damaged souls

The souls constantly shift shape and color though usually colors are like different tones under the same hue and always correspond with the person's personality in life

It's possible to break a soul further after death but it's incredibly difficult

You could, theoretically, revive someone by gluing their soul back together but that will probably present some flaws in the person being revived (gently looks at Kazue, Ichirou, and Minori)

Accepted headcanons:

-Thanh likes to organize his glass soul collection by color.  Since the souls shift in color regularly, he generally sorts them by their underlying tone.  Since the color reflects the person's personality, he figured that the souls would like being next to similar ones, so they could be friends or something. - Thanh's wings (I think they're wings?? If they're not please forgive me--) are made up of glass, while his hair only carries the appearance of it. That being said, his wings are delicate and shatter easily-- but they come back either on the same day, or the next!

Also, he loves collecting stained glass lamps, and takes his collection very seriously! There's nothing he won't do for another one of those beauties! (Comet)
