Profile

The same joyful, energetic, and flirtatious thief as before!
But, like, cooler now.

Golden eyes turned back to blue, and the dam holding everything back finally crumbled.
Jackson was back. He regained his emotions and thoughts as well as control over his actions once again, but the world had left him behind. Whatever power had been used to brainwash him had prevented him from aging, and although he looked the same as he ever did, everything had gone forward by months, years, decades.
By 29 years.
Many of those he had spent time with were gone, and those he had seen as kids were now much older than him. He was in an entirely new world filled with strangers. He was alone.
With nothing or no one, he wandered aimlessly for something, anything, that could give him purpose; something that could justify breaking out of that brainwashed hell. An old friend approached him with that very opportunity. It was a chance to work for the secret organization, the Prodigal, and more importantly as one of their agents. Heists, protection, intel, anything that needed physical yet stealthy activity. Jackson accepted, and thus started the new chapter in his life.

Notes: You know, as I was working on Jackson today, I realized this dude has been through a LOT. Bad parents, stabbed by Smiley, shot (and technically would have died), brainwashed by Ark, back to normal to see everyone he cared about dead, and now he's lost a dang eye. And he's STILL smiling! Anyways, no matter what I did with my characters, Jackson always threw a wrench into things because he accidentally broke through all the timelines from being brainwashed. I had no idea what to do with him either, until Milkman introduced one of her new characters!

Facts:

Full Name: Jackson Bradley Rivers

Nicknames: Jack (though prefers Jackson), Private

Age: 26 (Technically 55)

Birthday: January 4

Sexuality: Pansexual

Hair/Eye Color: Blonde/Blue

Height: 6'0"

Weight: 196 Ibs

Occupation: Agent

Voice: More mature yet still playful; Eric Vale (Phoenix Wright)

Personality: Despite everything life's thrown at him, Jackson still remains optimistic and cheerful, always joking and teasing those around him. He's energetic and likes to move around a lot, yet also sly and deceptive enough to take your wallet when you're not looking.
The shock from the time jump does leave him with vulnerable moments, however. He harbors a lot of grief, guilt, and regret for not being there for many close companions of him, and sometimes even blames their deaths on him. He tends to think about this either when alone or with the select few very close to him.

Drawing Details: There are two main outfits Jackson wears: his Agent uniform and his casual outfit.
His Agent uniform is a black three-piece suit without the jacket, and over his shoulders are holster straps.
In his casual outfit, he wears a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up and simple jeans. Usually he'll have aviators on.
Beyond this, there are massive changes to his overall design: on both wrists he has a tattoo of handcuffs with broken chains; his red bandanna is no longer present; he has a large eye patch over his right eye with a rose insignia on it. His hair has gotten slightly longer than before.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- Ark infused a small fraction of his power into Jackson to keep him alive when he was shot, thus making him unable to age during his brainwashed time.

- Although most of Ark's power was gone, some lingered and occasionally tried to regain control of Jackson. During these times he would get a migraine and his right eye would turn gold.

- During a heist one such migraine came. Fearing this interfering too much with work as well as falling back under control, Jackson took his own eye.

- He still gets migraines now and then but not nearly as much as he had before.

- He can age again but it goes slightly slower than the average human since some power still lingers inside him.

- He has a fake eye underneath the eye patch. It's actually a smoke bomb.

- Biggest struggle is figuring out how to wink now.

- Still attracted to people at least ten years older than him.

- The Commandant picked out the eye patch for Jackson. It contains a camera so he can see whatever the thief sees and make sure he's safe.

- Sometimes Jackson likes to mess with people and make his fake eye fall out so he can make them think they messed up his eye.

- Got the handcuff tattoos both to symbolize having always ran from the law, and breaking free from being Ark's prisoner.

- In a relationship with Teddy.
