• Gunmetal only has memories from about three or four months ago. Obviously he can talk and walk and such, and he's been trained in combat during this time, however he doesn't know very much about himself or even his own personality.
• Due to his memory loss, Gun's lost his ability to self-wield. Most Metals are capable of only transforming their arms or legs (e.g. Blademetal can turn his arms into swords), and Gun was supposedly able to do this as well, but he's since forgotten. Whenever Gun attempts to self-wield he loses concentration of his form and it falls apart.
• All the other Metals are out to kill Gun except for Blade, who Gun does remember as being his only friend. The Metals seem to be taking orders from someone to take Gun down...
• Gun is a fairly literal thinker and speaker; metaphor usually flies over his head. He also doesn't talk unless spoken to, and talks very informally (uses lots of contractions like "ain't", "you'd've", "I'd've", etc. and never addresses anyone by titles such as mister, miss, sir, etc.)
• Like all Metals, Gun is incredibly strong. If he had the willpower to, he could easily lift a car. He's the strongest out of all of the Metals.
• Also like all the other Metals, Gun has quick healing factor. He can take quite a few bullets before you knock him down, and as long as he's stable and can live long enough, his body will naturally heal itself within a matter of minutes. Once again, he outperforms his fellow Metals in this as well. It's almost as if there's something special about him...
