Profile
Himeko Kiyumizu
Trailblazing • Visionary • Insistent
"Stop worrying. Everyone said it was going to be fine."
Himeko is arguably the most put-together of her family. She takes great pride in her work to the point where one might think she's even 'uptight', but it's because she's worked hard to get where she currently is. A studious woman, she poured herself into her studies before her slew of jobs before starting her own business. Like her brother, it seems like the Kiyumizu children are cursed to despair in love, having many heartbreaking tales with past partners and even breaking up with fiancés within the span of five years. Himeko consistently feels conflicted, swaying in and out of the realms of emotional and logical, especially in love. She often doesn't share much about her pesonal life after moving out to keep her family from worrying about her, even if it's led to a mountain of stress and sleepless nights. Despite her unwavering love for the finer things of life, she is persistently careful to not let her upbringing get away from her.

The First Born
Himeko was the first child born to her parents Eimi and Kageki. She was relatively quiet in her upbringing, and was even encouraged to explore music namely by her father. After realizing that his daughter had no interest in music he was supportive of her desire to read books and her love of jigsaw puzzles. She was forced to share her room with her brother in her upbringing, but didn't mind all that much as a child.
Working Hard
Himeko eventually had her own room at thirteen after her brother was moved down into their basement, her parents wanting to give her as much privacy as possible with her upcoming teenage years. When she was able to do whatever she wanted with her room it was when she was intrigued by the world of interior design. She would often stall with friends in fancy furniture shops when they went roaming after class most days, and was consistently enamored by the chic lifestyle and glamor of the city's high society. She decided around 15 that she wanted to be an interior designer, and work with the city's most elite clients, and that she'd do anything to get there.
Leaving home
Himeko left her family to attend university at eighteen, drowning herself in her work in order to finish a year early. She eventually went on to get a supplemental two year degree ontop of her undergraduate qualifications, figuring that it would make her more credible. Each summer she would intern or work small jobs in her desired field on reccomendations from her professors. Due to her scheduling she had little time to visit home or talk to her parents, but would make sure that at every opportunity she would show them the same amount of love as if she had never left.
City Belle
Eventually Himeko started her own contracting business, and eventually rested within the top ranks of the trade at the young age of 26. She's frequently invited to attend parties that cater to the elite, where she sees as an opportunity to grow her business. Most of her clients come from on reccomendation of others, and her name is passed around by the wealthy as a worthy individual to hire. It was during this period too she worked on herself, captivated by the glamor of runway after being invited to a show by an ex-fiancé who happened to be a fashion designer. Most of her breakups aren't work related, nor was she too cold, rather most people fall in love with her steadfast personality and are off-put by the reciprocation of romance.
Himeko loves her little brother with her whole heart. They share a few sibling inside jokes related to their childhood together that nobody understands. Himeko visits him more than her parents just based on proximity, and often invites him to parties and events where she has a plus one (even though he usually declines). She's never been a bossy sister to him, nor emotionally cast him aside. The only time they usually butt heads is when it comes to music choices and favorite cuisine.
At first Himeko didn't like Seko that much due to how much he came around her house, but eventually it stopped bothering her because of how happy he seemed to make her brother. She was the first person to know that her brother and he were dating before her own parents, and would die with the secret if requested. Himeko as a young adult attempted to connect with Seko on a different level than her brother, figuring that his status as the child of a wealthy businessman would be an asset to her. Later on, she rejected Seko's fathers business when she was approached to do design work for him, knowing briefly the fallout that Seko had with him. She has never told him about this.
(they will get a page later) Himeko cares deeply for her parents. She saw how much they sacrificed for her and her brother when she was a kid, and in part her desire to be successful was to one day pay them back. When she attempted to, however, she was met with criticism and aversion. Taking no for an answer, she only compromised when they said she could slightly rennovate their house, but her restrictions were "nothing too crazy". Unlike many parents that have a favorite child, Himeko feels that she and her brother were treated equally and given the same amount of love and opportunity by both of them.
