Ashike is an ethereal beast, usually living her life as a non-corporeal being. She's more of a spirit than anything else, a culmination of a certain feeling. For her, that culmination is one of oversight and protection. She acts as a sort of "Guardian Angel" to the people who are most in need of a guide in life. She has hundreds of disciples, creatures like herself but with different colors and less abilities. She can speak and understand any language, using a sort of mind to mind communication similar to telepathy. She herself has taken on a human charge, a young human male named Azure who faced many challenges on his own. She is his guardian angle, becoming a corporeal beast with eyes of liquid amber.

Ashike, or more commonly "Ash", is a very strange sort of benevolent creature. Though she is very caring and protective of her charge, she is also quite aggressive. She has a tendency to bite, particularly Azure, and can be aloof and unresponsive to things that aren't super important. It is only when it is something that is really needed that she is quick to respond and quite helpful. She understands every command she is given, but she doesn't always do what she's told. She is intelligent, almost omniscient, and she makes her choices about when to help and when not to based on that knowledge.
