Profile

As gentle as June's soft warmth, yet as strong as August's unrelenting heat.

Ilióloustos, Summer's Hart, the Sun-Drenched. Though technically he could take on any form he pleases, he seems to prefer an appearance that partially resembles a deer, hence his title. He has tyrian purple fur and glowing golden eyes. Sprouting from his head are grand antlers, from which vines grew freely. Heat emanates from his body to make the area in his vicinity as warm as a sunny day, and fireflies seemed to appear out of thin air around his antlers. While he is fully capable of being serious, he chose instead to be fun-loving and reckless.

He is the child of Demeter and Pan, born from a liaison between the two. He existed in myths for thousands of years. Sometimes he was a mere legend, other times he was worshipped as a god. Regardless of what mortals considered him, he was revered and feared for his power over nature. As time wore on, however, both of these feelings faded, and instead mortals began to crave his power for themselves.

One fateful day, Ilióloustos met his death at the hands of two hunters: a brother and a sister. He managed to strike down the sister before he was fatally wounded. Clinging desperately to life, he made a pact with the brother, binding the siblings' souls together to his. The three have been one and the same ever since.
