Personality
Absolutely and incredibly creepy. So creepy - look at her move those little legs and snicker snack along the ground. Look at her clean and mop while giggling to herself. Weird, strange, obviously intensely creepy. Frequently sings to herself, silly little diddies that are definitely creepy if you listen to the words and how soft they are. Why would they be so soft and sweet? That's creepy. She has big life goals, huge plans - she's going to be the very best gremlin for someone who is almost as creepy as her. She likes to clean, and cook (though her cooking isn't that great unless she's trying to make it for children, as she has a fundamental misunderstanding of what is a "proper palette" and what people like), and loves the idea of playing cards though she's never learned because her parents were against her gambling. But remember, she's very creepy. It's not just an act that she tries to put on and instead looks endearing, not at all. AND it's not just a phase. Really. This is how she's been her ENTIRE life.

History
Jelena got her start the same way every good henchperson does - by working at her parent's farm. She wasn't especially good at growing the actual plants, but keeping the flower beds neat and tidy was always a favorite of hers. As she grew older, she was also given charge of drying any produce or flower that did not sell at peak. She was intrigued by people who would use natural products to dye things, but never got the opportunity to really learn how to do it, but she learned some little tricks for herself. While both of her parents and five of her six siblings are mages, no one is seen to be aware that they had any kind of magic whatsoever (and, therefore, if asked they would say they are nonmage, just with some congenital bone spurs that are larger than generally seen), and so she has no clue that she even has magic. As she grew older, she decided more and more that she was incredibly creepy and really just needed to work for someone who would fit her aesthetic. Somehow - to be revealed later - she made a connection with Enn and now (as of a month or two ago) happily (creepily) works for him to keep his den of sinners neat and tidy, and that's where she's found to this day. Enhanced Literacy
Can read documents/books without actually looking at the page she's reading, regardless of which side of the page it is on. It is less a "reading" and more an "intuition of what is there." At her current level, she can read single pieces of paper (or cards, or banners, etc - the point is that she cannot read several pages stacked together, like a book or folio) front and back without looking at it.
It is first noted that Jelena does not recognize this as a magic ability - it is merely a little trick she taught herself to pass the time/make herself feel special. Started with being able to read upside down, and then progressed from there.
Costs
- Magic is weakened under specific circumstances (1) - there must be light to see. Whether this is something true or something she just believes is true because reading in the dark is difficult is relevant.
- Magic somewhat impairs or reduces one or more of the caster's senses while it is in use (1) - Jelena is unable to taste and smell while doing her magic, and so she becomes entirely unable to eat
