  • He generally doesn't appear in his god form around mortals
Personality

Adrodimus is focused, quiet, clever, and generally keeps to himself. He's not very expressive and can struggle to show how he's feeling at any time. Despite it, he's a very kind man who has a surprising amount of empathy and honesty. He has a good sense of humor, though coming to understand when he's joking is something of a learned lesson. He's sympathetic towards those he must take to the afterlife, and frequently gives people extra time to say goodbye, along with trying  to make their transitions as smooth as possible.

His abilities include Shapeshifting, Teleportation (within a certain range), Partial invisibility, causing death to those he touches, telepathy. He can die, if he suffers enough damage; But his father is the god of death and will probably just kick him back out of the afterlife (With, a granted recovery time).

He is however, unable to kill those when it isn't their time without heavy political consequences, and he is unable to interact with living things easily (Even if he wants to), and has a strong aversion to holy/light magic.  He also has to make physical contact with a target to affect them, if they avoid him- he can't really do a whole lot from afar. He is proficient with sword and scythe.

Trivia

  • He can't touch things without killing them.  animals,humans,plants)-  the death touch which is necessary  for the job of "deaths". He  eventually learns to control this with his father's teachings.
  • He loves cats, they're one of the only animals immune to Death's influence (until their time, of course), so for a while it was the only friendship he had.
History

Adrodimus is the younger son of Valefor, the god of death. Mortimer is his older half-brother.

His mother was a mortal, who lived with he and his father through his youth until she passed away of an illness. Rather than her spirit joining her husband and son in the afterlife, she chose to be reborn in the eternal cycle, leaving her family behind and continuing on in a new life elsewhere. Adrodimus was young at the time, hurt and confused by her choice, he thought he and his father had been abandoned because of their roles as beings of the dead. He fled his father's teachings and following in his footsteps, and spent a lot of time with his grandfather (mother's father) growing up. He was a priest, a wise and kind old man who-despite believing in a god and afterlife that Adrodimus himself knew to be inaccurate, possessed a huge heart and insight into the world that Dimus really needed at that time. It was his grandfather's presence in his darkest times that led him to return to his father once his grandfather had also passed away.

He still struggles to accept his role in the world, but assists his father with his duties to escort mortal souls into their afterlife and help them continue on. He currently lives in the mortal realm, searching for his purpose in life with the blessing of his father to do so. He believes that until he finds out what life truly means to him, he can never really understand what it means to take it away.  It was during his time in the mortal world he met Eva, who he made a deal with in order for her to save her best friends life. At first humoring her only because he was curious on this human's real intentions. He made her into his half-death assistant (Immortal and partially spirit, though not entirely dead), and their bond grew slowly from there.
