Ruby Firelight - He is quite a specific magician, living and studying at the Academy of Fantasies and Wonders. No one knows how he lived outside the Academy. He compares himself to the homeless quite often, so it's safe to quess, that he didn't have any bought house at the moment.
It's strange to see a colorful person with shadow magic, but that what he is - Shadow Mage. He did not choose his magic in any ways. To be more precise, he hates his type of magic. He was not always a magician. These abilities have emerged through the conclusion of a contract with Shadow Creatures in the past. The contract had to be concluded because our Ruby was a little loser, and was hit by a wardrobe over his stupid head. Hit was so hard, he couldn't move or even realise what happened. Shadow creatures appeared around this time with helping hand and suspicious contract. After that he changed in his looks: With this magic appeared some strange illness. His hair and eye color changed into red without the ability to dye over. This sad fate made him into a "red and bright chicken". What a pity... Because of the unpleasant incident in the form of a wardrobe that hit him on the head, he still experiences unpleasant pain in the head and failures in his memory. So as not to experience terrible discomfort with memory loss, he has to write everything down in his diary and read it to remember important things.
