Jeremy grew up among humans with little or no worries. He is considered spoiled by many, even if it's justified. Dem loved to cook even when he was a kid. Jeremy cooked so much in his spare time, that eventually he decided to give the food to his classmates. Not out of kindness, but out of worry that otherwise nobody would eat it. And so he continued until one day a wing appeared behind his ear. In fact, it was always there, but not visible behind the hair. Out of curiosity, children began trying to pull out feathers from the wing. Jeremy did not approve in the slightest. The pain was so terrible, Dem had to start avoiding classmates.
When Jeremy grew up, he learned that from severe stress and nerves he starts to feel a terrible headache, from which the feathers begin to fall incredibly fast, until the stress is subdued. Still, feathers do not grow back. The boy decided for himself that from now on he has to behave calmly and restrained. Otherwise, expect trouble. Since then, he began to wonder: Is it possible that he is not the birth son of his parents?
Stepping into an adulthood, he inherited the restaurant from his grandfather. He is still visiting his grave to thank him.
Even though Dem has a stable job, he cannot resist the quick money. Because of that, he completed couple of strange things. As an excuse, Dem says that he'd be stressed otherwise.

- His true name is Ademir.
- The wing behind the ear can move and change position depending on emotions.
- Even if trying to hold back, Dem can show vivid emotions if you're making a good joke or interest him in some way.
- Dem does not want to find out his species. He is comfortable to consider himself a human. He can not eat poultry meat due to something unknown in his biology.
- Even if he is adopted, he loves his family and does care about them alot.
