Mei is quite shy and gentle in nature. She loves peaceful places where she can just sit quietly and enjoy the atmosphere. Her favourite place to visit is the café around the corner from where she lives. The café hosted an open mic night every Friday evening but Mei had always been to shy to attend.

One day though she ended up attending it and this is where she met Nora. Nora performed a few songs and Mei was taken aback by her. Mei attended every other open mic night in hopes of seeing Nora again. One night after performing Nora came over and introduced herself having recognised Mei from all of the other mic nights. Mei was so shy but they ended up talking the whole night and found they had a lot of common interests.

Nora helped Mei build up her confidence and they quickly became close friends. With Nora by her side, Mei started trying new things and experiencing the world in a different way than before. Over time her feelings for Nora changed and using her new confidence she confessed to her and they've been dating ever since, Mei has never been happier.
