The track Dirty Dirge, written by Marcia for the band, has Vesper on rhythm guitar.

Personality

Vesper makes the most ornate bass solos look and sound effortless. She has a cool, casual, easy style that has drawn attention—and fans—even though she's more accustomed to receding into the background. She's certainly not averse to playing the oftentimes-invisible support to their frontwoman, Marcia, both onstage and off it.

She juggles the responsibilities of her undergrad (double major in Criminal Justice and Politics), her internship with the police department, and the band, normally keeping her timetable well in order…until it's not, and important events start to coincide, and she finds herself with way too much to do and too little time to do it. Nevertheless she always strives to fulfill all her obligations, no matter how superhuman she has to be to do so. Normally she manages at the expense of her own health and sleep.

Her Spector Legend is cherished like a child and well-maintained: it was her first instrument, and one she bought off of savings in a less financially secure time, so she takes care not to do anything physically risky while anywhere in its vicinity.

Relationships

Vesper and Hong Yi really hit off from the day they met. They first met on the way to the music store where Hong Yi was looking to get the keyboard with which to start his musical career and she, a new E-string for her favourite bass. She quickly realised, as they exchanged stories about school and work, that this was the most fun she had had in anyone's company in a while. Hong Yi, too, thought she was exceptionally cool, the way she spoke of daring encounters with criminals on her internship the same way she would talk about doing the chores. Sharing a mutual desire to meet again, they exchanged numbers, and one thing led to another. Now they are both in Marcia's band, often working together and arguing and meeting up on not-dates.

Her relationship with Marcia is a completely different story that funnily ends in a similar place. Joining Marcia's new-formed band primarily for the chance to engage in her hobby on a regular basis, Vesper did not initially recognise Marcia's flirtation for what it was—a fact which, no doubt, only elevated the latter's attractions and convinced her she stood no chance. Through several sessions together, they learned they were exceptionally good at playing off of each other musically, that sense of rapport gradually developing into romantic interest on Vesper's part. It remains to be seen if either of them will broach the topic.
