Ruthenia is the kind of person who skateboards to class because she is the Delinquent Jock Pro EX. She keeps busy doing dangerous shit, such as hurtling down the hallways at 30 km/h or pulling rooftop stunts, for the sake of it.
Outside of school she spends more time on her part-timing as a mechanic in her foster dad's company than on homework. She considers most of her science homework quite easy, anyway, having grown up with scientist/engineer parents and learning resources in abundance. Languages and the arts are where she falters, with her difficulty in grasping nuance and subjectivity, and her bullshit work ethic, when it comes to the things she doesn't like, is her greatest stumbling block.
She's an infamous star batter on the Central Circle High School's baseball team, often #4 on the lineup and known for her aggressive hitting and ridiculously long home runs. As in all other pursuits of her life, she is impulsive, and her opponents know it.
As with all people you try to neatly categorise in a single subculture, Ruthenia has a secret! Outside of school and work, she quietly volunteers at the orphanage where she lived for a good four years of her life. But she doesn't tell people about it because it would ruin her Jock Image™.
