Aegis is one of the main protagonists of Project Saikou, a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Fanon project.

He is a character with a family name stained by the works of the Saikou Foundation, a foundation owned by his grandfather, who coducted experiments on many people which have been released when the foundation came to it's downfall. As reports of people going missing start spiking in the town of Morioh, It's up to Aegis and his companions to get to the bottom of the disappearances.

He sleeps around a lot.

He works at a salon part time to be able to pay for his taxes and night school. He takes up fashion illustration after graduating high school.

He was given the nickname "Aeg" (pronounced like the word "age") at some point. somebody (me) misspronounces it as "egg" on purpose.

His favorite colors are navy blue and violet.

1985-1994

Born to a wealthy and successful family, Aegis (Ayesha at the time) didn't have to worry about expenses, for their grandfather’s work provided enough money for a mansion. On the other hand, their mother and grandfather would always be busy with their work in the Saikou Foundation, so they were sort of deprived of attention. They were homeschooled throughout their childhood, so they also didn’t have anyone to talk to other than their tutor, who, other than teaching, didn't want anything to do with them. They weren't very good at communicating with others because of that. Every once in a while though, their mother would come home to spend some time with them, but it’d only be a few hours before she disappears for a few days again. Everything changed the year they turned 8. Unaware that the foundation’s laboratory burned down, Ayesha was surprised to see their grandfather for the first time in a while. He took them away to another mansion, farther away from their previous residence. Little did they know they technically got kidnapped by their own grandfather, taken away from their mother that night.

Living with their grandfather wasn't that bad. He’d feed them questionable substances or assign some questionable tasks to them sometimes, like feeding them pills they didn't know the name to, or recording their height and weight every once in a while, but these were tolerable to them. Other than that life with their grandfather was almost like life before they moved, except for the fact they now had a more present parental figure. It wasn’t how they thought it out to be, but it was better than nothing. One thing that upset them though was the fact their mother never bothered to visit. They figured that she’s never coming back, till two years later (1995) when their mother arrived at the mansion, telling them that she’s been looking for them for two years and that they don't have to worry about his grandfather anymore. Confused, they went with his mother either way, only to have her taken away permanently. As they aimlessly walk around the area keeping up with each other, a mysterious person attacks them. Aiming to bring Ayesha away from harm, Lovelyne used the last of her powers to teleport them away. They find themself in Italy, Lovelyn’s hometown, but with nowhere to go they end up living in the streets.

1995-2001

For the next five years, scavenging for food and fighting for his life has become an everyday chore to him. Often avoiding everyone to avoid getting backstabbed (which happens more often than not), he has no one. No friends, no family, just himself. He also starts identifying as male and going by the name “Aegis.” Considering that he is trans, he couldn’t tell many about his origins. When he turned 15, he hears about Passione and goes to them, looking for family. He passed Polpo’s test without putting the fire out and was assigned to the illegal drug transport team. He's worked for Passione's Narcotic's Division for his stand was convenient for the job, but he wasnt really fond of them for understandable reasons.

He wasn't loyal to anyone until he met Cioccolata. After delivering the anesthesia to Cioccolata, Cio asks how he could repay Aegis. Aegis takes this as an opportunity to find a new family. He asks Cio if he could be part of his team, and seeing potential in Aegis, Ciocolatta obliges. Working with Cioccolata for a year makes Aegis a lil less sane than he used to be, with his first murder being an instruction from Cio. He starts seeing others's pain as entertainment. He also starts using some of the drugs that Passione manufactures, not under Cio’s influence but of his own loss of his moral compass. Though Cioccolata is affectionate to those he cared about, Aegis was not one of them. Cio often takes advantage of Aegis’s loyalty for it was convenient to him, often telling him, “this is what family is for.”

2001-2005

After Ciocollata and Secco's defeat, Aegis found himself lost again, without a family, and technically without a home. Passione has stopped illegal drug production and he has no other job to provide for himself with. For that, he resented Giorno, the new Boss, but just as he was about to leave passione for good, Giorno and Mista approaches him, aiming to get some information out of him about the Narcotics Division. Looking through his records, Giorno noticed that he was really young to be a drug addict(which is ironic in Giorno's case for he is a mafia leader at the age of 16) and somewhat pittied him. Giorno signed him up for rehab and therapy because of that, and Aegis may have rudely declined at first, but the next five years of therapy had changed him. It didn't changed his drug addiction but he's much calmer and now has zero murderous tendencies :D.

After 5 years had passed, he asked Giorno if he could visit his hometown, which is located in Japan. Giorno obliges and lets him take a plane all the way to Morioh, where he'll be greeted by the consequences of his grandfather's past actions.
