Sola

The sola are the Sol Dimension's version of chao. They function very similarly but have different forms.

Neutral Sola (middle): mostly similar to their chao counterpart, neutral sola mainly have different colors. Their emotiball is a ball with a ring around it, reminiscent of a gas giant with rings.

Radiant Sola (left): counterpart of the hero chao, this type of sola resembles a fiery bird. It’s emotiball is a ball giving off light, resembling a sun. It is associated with fire.

Void Sola (void): counterpart of the dark chao, this type of sola resembles a dark dragon. It’s emotiball is a ring, resembling a black hole. It is associated with cold (blue) fire.

As all chao require clean water to thrive, the sola require adequate sunlight.

Behind the scenes: the designs and elements of the sola were based off of Solaris and it’s two halves, Iblis and Mephiles. This was based on my headcanon that Solaris was originally from the Sol Dimension (matching names and a reason for Blaze to have traveled to Silver’s time) and the Sol equivalent of Chaos, making it a mutant sol. The radiant sola also have design elements based on the Babylon Guardian and the Babylonian aliens as its implied that they existed in the Sol Dimension too.

Feel free to design your own equivalents of other chao forms (run, fly, etc.) or give your own Sonic OCs sola, just credit me for the original idea.
