Lottie was adopted at birth by her fathers - A lucario and a mienshao, who had both retired from their lives as Bounty Hunters. Both of her fathers were very proud warriors, each hailing from different, strict martial disciplines. In many ways, Lottie was meant to be an heir to both. From the time she was small, her fathers put a great deal into educating and training her. Because of this, she was refined and formal from a rather young age. While impressive, however, this also put something of a damper on her relationships with other young pokemon, and she ended up isolating herself to favor training and reading over socializing. As a result, Lottie grew into a very capable, but very solitary young woman. Somewhat to her parents dismay, she seemed to have little love for the idea of living life as a warrior, despite doing quite well in her years of training. In spite of this, her fathers supported her. It was Lucario who suggested that she join a team - not to become a warrior, but to see more of the world and meet other Pokémon. He hoped that encouraging her would both help her find herself, as well as find something else her parents both thought very important - comrades. Reluctant to disappoint her parents further, Lottie agreed, joining up with the rescue team called Lands End to serve as an advisor and informant.
