Andy was raised with her two younger siblings by her mother and father. Although they parents tended to argue, they had a good childhood, but one day when Andy was still a teenager she visited Wahoo World with her siblings and her father when a mass shooting took place there. Andy was able to hide with her siblings and cover their eyes until the shooting stopped but her father wasn't so lucky and Andy witnessed everything. She needed a lot of time until she was somewhat ok again. She decided that she wanted to become a police officer which was against her mothers ideals. Her mother wanted her two girls to be ladylike princesses which she made even clearer when her husband died. Andy tried to please her mother and behave but stood up for her siblings when they were forced to behave a certain way. Eventually their mother left them alone and since James was already in university to study music, Andy raised Caddy while fullfilling her dream to become a police officer.
