A mad doctor and his wretch of a student, but his position as the gravekeeper of the Churchyard proves useful is enough to be kept around the surgeon with a consistent supply of bodies for study, keeping him pleased.
A renowned doctor and his lowly student... Naive as it seems, Cadmus believes Mercury might one day find it in his heart to teach Cadmus a thing or two about being a surgeon. Sure, he's pretty much set in his ways as a gravekeeper as it's the easiest way to manage his restless souls, but... He can have dreams too, can't he?
My master Grigory... he's the greatest mystic and healer in the land, I am blessed to be in his presence and deeply humbled that he chooses me as his Deacon. The Heirloom he has from Kel, the mystical healing chalice, I would love to study it and its properties and how it heals various ailments.
Ohhhh *hic* Mercury? I like keeping the bird around, makes parties more interesting when he and the boy he keeps around pull out cadavers and starts dissecting bodies on the snack table. He knows how to help me treat the King's aches and pains too, usually with a bit of that drug Bonedust he keeps stashed away...
Raker, a good friend of mine for many years, his… uh… interrogation methods provide a great source for medical knowledge and how much our bodies can endure such agony. I often bring Cadmus to watch him use the breaking wheel on prisoners as homework.
My bessst friend… Mercury alwaysss hasss jussst what I need for my constant ssshedding and parasssitesss… Hissss apprentice though doesssn’t have hisss moxie however, or hisss good looksss.
The lovely Ms. Fortune, I always know just the skincare beauty routine she needs… some lead-filled makeup, spider silk and mellified man for a cream. Strange how my gift baskets for her wind up in the garbage though.
Creep... I don't care if his methods are ever useful, we have Faith Magic for that. If he offers me anything, it's going straight to the trash. Why can't my coworkers be normal!
