A young Regina was taken from her family. She was made to forget by her new father, Samuel O'Neal, and blood bound into obedience for many years.

She was treated as Samuel's own. He thought humans were merely pawns on a chessboard, but this one was destined to become his kindred pawn. To help him raise this child, Samuel requested the help of one of his ghouls, Tammy Herron. Tammy stitched the three together into a family. She was Regina's mother figure, the one to nurture her human side.

Samuel was a wealthy man and raised Regina with a proper education on both the workings of vampire society and the world of humans. Her father encouraged her to make allegiances, not friends. She was taught to observe, to manipulate, to never show her cards and always keep her ace close to her chest. She isolizes her father and will do anything to make him happy.

• Regina was unknowingly blood bound for most of her life. Samuel thought this would inspire long-term loyalty in a developing child's mind... and he succeeded.
• Her sire, father and kidnapper, is a 10th generation vampire born in the 1860's. He rose to prominence in his undeath as a organized crime kingpin in the roaring 20's.
• Regina loves her mother Tammy, who is Samuel's ghoul. But Tammy's love for Regina has eroded over time.
• Regina has a personal ghoul named Ammon.
