One of the Triune, the enigmatic and secretive usurper-leaders of the Vaervan Kingdom. Irie considers himself an expert in magic and magical theory, and has a dedicated laboratory to the study of magical anomalies. This causes friction with Noslyn Roch, who sees Irie's growing lack of interest in governing as a deep-rooted character flaw. Irie has no interest in tradition or forcing himself through things that do not pique his interest, and believes Noslyn's obsession with forcing Irie into politics rather than research to be a perversion of what they overtook the Vaervan Kingdom for.
