Background
Alexyzandra is a very reclusive pegasus who specializes in crafting potions and paper spells. She has a long-running agreement with Celestia to provide her with those potions in exchange for extensions to her lifespan and a place at the palace. Still, she's rarely seen by guests or royalty alike while working on her experiments and tasks. When she does crawl out of her workshop, she is often covered in soot, burns, and scratches from the volatile chemicals, ingredients, and magic that are required.
She has very little patience for social settings or the things which she considers pointless which make her difficult to get along with and communicate with. Even so, she has very little true malice towards others. She would just rather she be left alone.
Trivia
- There is very little that Zan won't do if it means Celestia ensures her survival. With a deep fear of death, this pegasus will stop at nothing to avoid it.
- Zandra is one of the primary reasons the Uprising has not been able to make headway. She specializes in magic that can be utilized as weapons and deterrents.
- She has very little semblance of a social life, both out of necessity and for the desire not to interact with other ponies.
- Zandra absolutely adores cats. If not for the fact her laboratory is dangerous, she would have several.
Design Notes + Details
- While Alexyzandra's coat is mostly white, it is exceptionally rare to see her without bruises, scratches, or singed patches of fur from her experiments.
- Along with her injuries, her wings are typically tattered. She is unable to fly well if at all most of the time. Her wings are sometimes bandaged closed as it makes no difference to her one way or another.
- Her mane and tail are kept extremely long save for the rare times where she knows it isn't enough to put it up and away. In a casual setting she has it down, but in her working setting she often has both tied in a bun. Her mane and tail can be depicted differently as per artistic liberty.
- She prefers to wear her bandana when she isn't working with potions, but the bandana is optional.
