Description

He was born within the walled city of Albador, a territory that was practically the king's backyard. It was here that Blackavar grew up, but life was to change once the local knights noted his skilled hand. He was an excellent sword fighter and was taught by his father before he had died. The boy had continued the practice up until he was summoned to the royal court. It was here that he learned that he had good standings concerning the more influential peoples that lived and worked within the castle. So, with this knowledge, he became a knight. He served the king wholeheartedly and trained with his fellow knights on a regular basis. However, at one point in his life he had fallen for the princess of the Albador kingdom. She was a beautiful sight, and he couldn't help but stare at her when she wasn't looking. Ultimately, the two ended up meeting and fell head-over-heels for each other. They continued to see each other almost every day, though they had to be discreet about it, for it was prohibited for a person of common blood to be in a romantic relationship with a person of noble, or royal, blood. It was only after five months had passed that the king found out about his daughter and one of his knights, and grew furious. He scolded the two and told them to never see each other again. Of course, they could not comply to such a thing, so the king decided to settle the matter himself. So he sent Blackavar off, along with a few other knights to the plains of Grembilo to scout the area. Little did Black know that the king had offered payment to his fellow knights to take his own life. And that was what they did. They got Blackavar to the ground after a long and drawn out battle, killed him and left him for dead to report back to the king. Little did they know that Black had, miraculously, survived, as the knight who had done the job hadn't done it well enough. He limped off into the woods until he couldn't no longer. Thankfully someone found him on the way back to their cabin and took him home, nursing him back to health.

He now stays with Gala, the older woman who rescued him, and helps her with various chores. He has vowed never to work under such a wretched king ever again, and has not once taken a step into his city. And yet he still thinks about the princess and wonders how she fairs. What has her father told her? Did she believe it? Endless questions riddle his mind and the answers he may never acquire.

Only recently has he taken in someone off the streets. A girl named Laila. She's been living with him and Gala for a while now, and he's grown rather close with her, and they've even decided to start courting each other. It's been quite a while since he's held a proper relationship, so he's a bit uncertain and rusty concerning the entire ordeal but... but he still wants to make something like this work. For the both of them.
