Octis was hesistant to allow Turbatio into the ranks of his demonic following due to Turbatio's annoying, unusual nature, though after some thought permitted him to linger with the demons.
Turbatio has a longstanding rivalry with Zolix. He frequently irritates the Wrath demon by evading his attacks and taunting his intelligence. Since Zolix cannot see him when he's quiet, Turbatio "hides" by hanging from the supporting beams of the cathedral by the tail. This is also his primary sleeping spot. While sleeping, Turbatio's proper eyes remain closed but the eyes in his ears remain active and will move when he goes into REM sleep. These "ear-eyes" have disconjugate moments in relevance to his proper eyes. The eyes in each set will move correctly together, but each set move independently of the other.
Turbatio can remove his head at will. Both his body and head can survive independently indefinitely when separated from the other. His head will snap to the base of his neck like a magnet when they come into close proximity. The point where Turbatio's head can separate from his body is located underneath his collar.
