A behemoth that was deliberately grown from a plant by a cult that worshipped plant-behemoths and saw him as the reincarnation of Vallha, the Fervor destroyer-god. Saos fled the cult when he was around forty and ended up swimming across the inlet to the island of Evenne, who were shocked to see him. Several behemoth researchers petitioned Quinten to allow him to stay out of a vested interest in plant behemoths.
He's lived in First Dawn ever since, though his discomfort at learning Ops was invited to the island means he's become a bit of a recluse.
