I can't decide who I like more in this hotel rivalry! Peyton's great too! I love characters who approach everything from a methodical standpoint, even things where most other people wouldn't deem that necessary Maybe it's because I relate? Other things I like/find interesting about them: 1. Their relationship with their parents being described as perfunctory. I usually see parent/child relationships that are good or bad, but I can't recall if I've ever seen any that were just so-so. 2. The fact that their jokes never land. Poor Peyton.
Hehe, I loved conceptualising these two, and I really hope I get to explore their characters in more detail in the story though I suppose I could (and should) be drawing them more instead. Writing about them always cracks me up. Their relationship with their parents does just amount to sending them money, visiting them to say hi and keep in touch, and helping them in times of need. It's very duty-based.
