Majira didn't have the easiest upbringing, her mother and father weren't as affectionate to her and her sister as the other mothers were to their cubs. Majira often thought it was because she was doing things wrong or that she wasn't good enough. When she was still quite a young cub, Majira heard her mother and father arguing, and went closer to see what they were arguing about. She found out that her mother didn't even want cubs in the first place and that her father wanted them so that his pride would appear stronger than rival prides. After the arguement Majira's father went back to the rest of the pride but her mother went the other direction, towards Majira, not yet realising that she'd been listening. She noticed Majira and instead of reasuring her, she swiped her across her ear and told her not to say anything to her sister. Later on in her adolecent years Majira was tought basic knowledge of herbs, even though she wanted to learn how to hunt and defend her teritory, but her mother and father insisted that she learned about herbs because the healer was getting older and Majira was good at remembering things. Near the end of her adolecence one of Majira's friends challenged her father to a duel to be king, and was killed by him. She left the pride soon after and found a jungle far away from her old territory and now she heals passers-by with her still increasing knowledge of herbs and plants.

Ruthlessly devious, no one can stop Majira from getting what she wants. She yearns for recognition, and has an unwavering determination to be the best she can be. She’ll work herself to the bone to get a job done so Majira respects, although very reluctantly, others who have achieved more than she has. She hides her feelings so well that, she often seems like she doesn't have any, and often comes across as heartless and cruel. However the truth is far from this, and those who manage to get close to Majira may see a different side to her, a defensive friend who will go the distance for the things she believes in and only when she fully trusts someone will she.show her true emotions.
