Hatsuhara

Hatsuhara comes from an old family with money. He was well-educated and trained in many activities. But Hatsuhara's heart belonged to the written word, and no matter how many instruments he picked up, or pictures he tried to draw, writing and reading became his first love. 

Hatsuhara became very popular without much effort. He catches people's eyes very easily, and it's not just because he stands out by wearing traditional clothes. He is seen as quite the fashionista, and people always want to dress him up and invite him places because of his looks and agreeableness. He's not a model, but many people on the street ask to take his picture, sometimes just for fun, or sometimes for a quick job. Hastuhara always pleasantly agrees. He has a hard time saying "no" to people. He's quite agreeable upon first meeting because he doesnt want to make waves but he doesn't have very many close friends because he doesn't  let people in. 

There is always something quite melancholy about Hatsuhara that even when he smiles, he looks sad. His poems have such a wide range of emotions despite Hastuhara keeping rather cool and collected himself. People say that he's never been angry once in his life. 

Magical Form / Background Info:

A giftbox appeared on Hatsuhara's doorstep one evening. He looked around to see who dropped it off, assuming it was one of his admirers. Inside it was a beautiful pen, with a note that read: "A beautiful poet needs to be inspired by beautiful poems..." and then ended with these touching lines by Kitahara Hakushu - roughly translated to: 

^{A Hyacinth,
The pale purple colored
Flower bloomed.
It was the first day
She shaked my heart.}

Out of sorrow, A fresh new Love can shake even the most stoic people to their very core and make them forget about any false pretenses. It can drive them to feel things they didn't think they were allowed to feel. When Hatsuhara first used the pen, he transformed into Hyacinth the Heartless and discovered a strange new ability. As Hyacinth, his pen turns into a bladed fan when he transforms. He can scrawl "in" or "out" in the air, which makes things suck or blow towards or away from his fan like a very strong gust of wind.

Hatsuhara doesn't under why this happened to him, but as Hyacinth, he feels a freedom and strength he's never felt before and relishes in his transformations.
