Tacita keeps pretty tight lipped about her history. Currently, she works as a successful smuggler in Lion's Arch, known for her cutthroat attitude underneath a friendly and sometimes flirtatious exterior. All that's known of her is that she was likely Ash Legion, seems to keep ties with the Order of Whispers. She has a strong distrust and dislike for the Legions.
Tacita was once able to wield a staff and perform acrobatic attacks, but she sustained an injury to her right hamstring muscles that rendered her unable to execute the same attacks effectively. She can still hit hard with a staff should she need to.
If you see her at any point, it can be assumed she has a dagger hidden on her person, even if she's already wielding another weapon. One can never be too careful.
Tacita relies on shadow magic to augment her attacks, or, lately, to merely intimidate. Her most powerful use of shadow magic involves her "thieves' guild", in which she summons shadowy, if somewhat fragile, clones to give her the advantage.
Though she hasn't in a while, Tacita honed her marksmanship in Elona and became a great shot with a rifle, since it allows her to keep her distance and not need to move as much with her limitations.
An extension of her shadow magic, but one she prefers only to use in dire situations. If she hates anything most, it's getting cornered.
Due to her now comfortable life in Lion's Arch, Tacita has quite a few outfits to cycle through; at any rate, she makes sure she's dressed to the nines. When out in the field, she wears medium armor, with a metallic mask for anonymity.

A stylized metal mask of a snow leopard. Worn in combat.
Not often used lately, but a well-maintained and well-worn rifle. Expertly made.
Two daggers used far more often, and sometimes hidden.
If out in the field or preparing for a dangerous situation, she tends to equip these.
A small carved totem that has been worried and handled over the years, carried on a leather string. Given by a friend.
Tacita is strongly defensive of her, and fiercely loyal to her. She jokingly credits Amica to her "being so nice". Though Amica is off having her own adventures, they keep in touch via letters and Amica visits her on occasion in Lion's Arch. Tacita affectionately calls her "Sunshine".
