Mu is a hybrid dual species of Red Bark Maple and Domestic Cat. The primary species is the Maple and it forms most of muirs internals. The rune on muirs ear seals a magical bond that prevents meow from ever being treated as distinct species. As a trade off mu has near limitless native transformation. The rune is itself dynamic and may change size and orientation. It can even float inside the right ear unattached to the ear surface.
Actual transformation is a combination of foci, concentration, and situation. Muirs default presentation is primarily domestic cat with only the single wing as a clue to muirs heiritage. The single wing is the general limit of muirs self perception and transformation toward cat. It is extremely uncommon for meow to present with claws. The tail is the most common transformation and is often longer than first perceived. Muirs fur is generally an even length across muirs body. Slight fuzz is present on the wing leaves.
When wearing clothes mu tends towards grey/green colors and dresses. Most of muirs are long and extend past the knees. Belts with green and glitter are also common. The priority is on simplicity and freedom of motion.
