- For any other ink colour, her secondary colour is blue.
- Her bangs hide most of her ears.
- The markings around her eyes have a slight upward curve on the ends.
- In battle, she wears the Takoroka visor, but she wears a pair of glasses on her head outside turf war.
Marialena is someone you would not want to encounter in battle. She's resourceful, decisive and observant, frequently noticing small things which may pass the eyes of her team mates. However, she sometimes focuses on these small things, without considering the larger picture. She's often been noted as being leader material, from her critical, honest nature, from her pushiness to how she commands her team mates in battle. She has quite the cut-throat attitude, which frequently causes arguments with her team mates. She loves winning, and will certainly brag if she gets the chance. However, she's an even worse sore loser, sometimes even pointing the blame at particular team mates, rather than herself.
Outside of battle though, Marialena's rather known for her optimistic and generous behaviour. She doesn't mind sharing with others, within reason obviously. She's also been noted to be rather absent minded at times, frequently forgetting things and getting distracted. Aside from frequently using the wrong gear, she's also been known for being incredibly loud.
- Her parents primarily work at Grizzco, leaving Marialena with an abundance of crusty sean vouchers and ability chunks, since her parents don't use them at all. There's a joke between her friends about how her parents got "Kidnapped by Grizzco".
- Part of the reason why she hates Grizzco is because her parents are always encouraging her to work there. However, she has no interest within it.
- She greatly looks up to Pearl, and sees her as her idol. She adores Off the Hook, with her favourite song being Ebb & Flow
- She has a fascination with Octolings, which primarily came from discovering that Marina was an Octoling. She's tried doing some research, but found little information.
- Some people joke that her screams can be heard from Inkopolis Squares. She has definitely lost her voice from screaming too much.
- Outside of battle, she can frequently be found playing games on her phone outside the Crust Bucket.
- Marialena is meant to wear glasses, but prefers to wear contacts instead. However, she can't seem to wear them for ages, so she always has a pair of glasses on standby if she needs them.
