"Angel Game"--It's said to be a game where one could gain the ability to control powerful elements by having a magical, circle-shaped symbol on their left hand called the "Angel's Heart". However, it was discovered that the price you pay to play this game is by having a certain "misfortune"; and that alone became the reason why the game is frowned upon society--saying it's the source of these misfortunes or the sign of an upcoming war between mankind. One day, Kokoro found herself owning the rumored Angel's Heart...after facing her biggest loss...

A newcomer that recently moved to Tamahara town and works as an assistant florist. During her first few weeks in her new place, she appears to be quite well-liked by fellow residents and customers...but for how long, will she stay behind her image and never reveal the fact that she appears to be an Angel Gamer...and owns a certain phobia towards it...?
Personality
While Kagami is quite the shrinking violet, her gentle, soft-spoken and often compared with a mother--customers, especially younger children sometimes would visit her workplace just to interact with her. While she's not the best at words, she likes taking care of others and watch over their well-beings. Kagami is also secretly smart; she owns the habit of researching thoroughly on something that she's interested or wants to improve at, even if it's something she never personally tried or have experiences in.
While Kagami is very generous when it comes to sharing her knowledge, one thing she hates sharing is talking about herself; not because of self-esteem...but her past contains some unpleasant memories that she refuse to speak of. Although no matter how she hides, it's clearly shown from her reactions or when she broke down from her traumas, especially when participating in Angel Game.

Backstory
Aside from the fact that Kagami hides her developed phobia towards Angel Game, she also hides her own background life prior to moving in Tamahara. Not to mention, the fact that she hides that she's an Angel Gamer makes nobody suspect her to own any "Heart" and misfortunes. Little did people know, one of the main reason she moved to Tamahara in the first place is to run away from the place that caused her own trauma...
In the past, her twin sister, Kyouko, was granted with a "Heart" and became an Angel Gamer. Her sister's engagement was soon cancelled as her fiancee's family refused to accept any unfortunate child in their family, and passed down the engagement to Kagami instead due to the fiancee's request. Filled with jealousy and hatred, Kyouko committed suicide in front of Kagami, and Kagami obtained her "Heart" not too long after the incident. Kagami was forced to move out to a different town, as she felt like she was eternally cursed by her sister's death--and developed her phobia from the unfortunate incident.
Current story
As Kagami eventually failed to keep her secret, she started realizing what she truly wants for herself and can't let her trauma to control her forever. She aims to move on from her past, and eventually get rid of her fear by participating in Angel Game--even if it's a slow step, she fully trust her friends to help her becoming someone who stands on her own feet.
Kagami joined Kokoro alongside her friends in their goal to uncover the truth behind Angel Game, with the others helping her decision to cure from her phobia and trauma. While she lacks experiences in Angel Game, she is the one that studies the most about its history and she's often seen as the parental figure of the group.

Facts
- "Matsumoto" means "base of pine tree".
- "Kagami" already means "mirror" in Japanese, and her name specifically uses the kanji for "mirror; beauty".
- This pattern also follows with Kyouko's name that uses the kanji for "mirror; child".
- While Kagami is usually seen timid, any of her close friends could ask any information (that she happens to know) and would blurt out as many information without realizing it. (Examples being Kagami explaining every single rules on Angel Gaming when asked.)

Kozue Higurashi
Friends
Kozue learns from the intelligent Kagami, while Kagami learns from the experienced Kozue. Both of them differs a lot in background, but that is what makes them the closest. Kagami often wonders how come Kozue is that carefree despite her obviousness in many things...
Hidamari Kokoro
Friends
Kokoro is one of Kagami's regular customer--that she even knows about Kokoro's backstory mostly from Kokoro's friendliness. While she acts skeptical towards her at first, eventually Kagami opens up and began trusting Kokoro in order to cure her phobia.
Sakane Mikano
Friends
As both of them share similarities in being the "wiser" ones among the four, Kagami and Sakane tends to discuss together regarding Angel Game and the likes. Although, the major difference is Sakane can easily demonstrate her plans, while Kagami still hesitates...
