Out For Blood

Out For Blood is a rhinostorkteryx, a species of giant bird that often competes for territory with glidewings due to their similar environmental needs. As an omnivore, its vibrant colors are for display more than survival, and make it useful for airship crews due to its high visibility even at a distance. Intelligent and loyal enough to return to the ship without a rider, Out For Blood is often let out on its own to hunt when far enough away from settlements to avoid accidental theft of livestock.

Out For Blood is aware of its own strength and importance, and has an air of dignity that borders on superiority despite being a bird. Agreeable when treated with respect and given proper enrichment, it does have a tendency to screech in challenge to thunder during storms.
