Elemental form - Small, around 2' tall and 5' long, rainbow sherbet coloured dragon made of solid light. Looks like some kind of colourful lizard to the unawakened.

Unsettled - Always on the go. A traveler at heart. Has a hard time settling down. Restless. Multitasker who rarely finishes a project.

Rowdy - Brash, loud, and vulgar. More from a lack of self-control than for attention. He craves external chaos. Impulsive. Acts without thinking.

Uncomfortable in His Own Skin - Reckless. No goals. Aimless. Feels like his body is not his. Not introspective.

Additional Information - Generally a friendly acquaintance with everyone he spends time with, he's good with names, and willing to lend a hand. Not a shoulder to cry on, but if you need help moving or a fist in a fight, he's your guy. He secretly enjoys museums and historical landmarks and will kick your ass on the history section of Trivial Pursuit.

Liminal - When not sleeping, he's always in a waking dream somewhere between sleep and fully awake. His liminal nature gives him an insomnia-like condition where he will stay awake days at a time until he passes out from exhaustion or uses a sleeping aid/depressant. Drinking a lot of milk also works, just not as quickly.

Blink Teleportation - Can teleport up to 5' in any direction as long as no one is watching. All it takes is a blink.

- Switched at birth. Looked enough like his new parents that no one noticed.
- Father originally from Canada. Parents own a food truck. He's raised in Portland.
- He was always a rough child, getting in trouble from a young age.
- Jean's parents decide to move to Polaris Pass when he's 10 and his younger sister is born. They hope it will calm him down.
- It doesn't. Especially when he starts seeing things.
- On edge and thinking he might be going crazy, Jean-François does not adjust well to his new home. His mother decides to homeschool him. As a teenager, he spends a lot of time riding around town on his bicycle, doing odd jobs while other kids are in school. He also discovers his abilities during this time.
- By 16 he has saved up for a motorcycle. Since it's pretty much the only thing he's followed through with, his parents let him get one.
- A used motorcycle means he spends a lot of time at the repair shop.
- One of the Volkovs notice his illusions and he starts working for the gang as an errand boy and drug runner, staying on after he graduates.
- He's worked for them for years, but never had the inclination to climb up the ranks, even though he's good at what he does.
