history
As a young fox kit, Faux broke into a witches cabin and searched through his belongings looking for food. Much to the foxes surprise, a potion they drank seemed to gain them some sentiance/human-like thought. Upon coming home and realizing what had happened, the witch felt it was their duty to raise the creature they had accidentally created.
Having this fox child got a lot of eyes looking at the witch, who was already shunned by society for practicing magic and such. When she started to grow a little more into the rebellious, loud, cocky and thieving fox she is now, the witch abandoned her not knowing how to deal with raising an older child/teen. Faux felt abandoned and alone.
The world was not kind to Faux, now an orphan who stole to survive and became a well known thief to surrounding kingdoms. She grew used to sleeping on straw bedding and having a bounty on her head- viewing all interactions as a possible danger. Over time Faux started to hate humans and take more kindly to mob-hybrids or entities, even going so far as to kill whoever hunted her down for bounties when it came down to it.
Upon her travels Faux crossed paths with another traveling mob-hybrid called Ender and the two bonded over being outcasts. Ender had a very innocent and new view on the world that Faux liked, not being corrupted by humanities hate. Although at this point in time most humans had come to be more accepting of mob-hybrids due to the influx of them in society (Thanks to The End, Nether and various other reasons)But still…Faux vowed to hate all humans equally due to how they treated her in the past.
The land of “The End” had always been a legend to others, most thinking of it as nothing but a myth- but Faux always believed it was real and dreamed of a realm to call their own! Or… perhaps banish all that stands in her way too. Having been close to Ender, Faux brought this up to her and Ender confirmed it was real which set Faux down a dark path of planning and obsession. Faux wanted to find the end and banish humanity into it, so that she could create the perfect world for her and others like her.
It was...a huge plan but Faux never let that thought go. When bringing it up with Ender it caused a major fight between the two. Taking over the end meant killing the Ender dragon- a creature seen as a god to all Enderman and Elderlings. Ender was horrified by her plan and Faux, feeling betrayed by her only friend, lashed out and attacked them. A fight broke out- which left Faux alone once more.
But with her new-found loneliness came more drive for her plan. She was going to make the world a better place for creatures like her, no matter who supported her or not. No matter what the cost. Faux now spends most of her time researching “The End” and how to kill the god that protects it. After defeating a Wither, She wields its Wither Star ingrained in her trident which seems to give it more powerful properties, making her a chaotic foe to fight against!
Unfortunately due to having full exposure to a wither star…Faux seems to be inhabiting some of the withering effects, leading her down a dark spiral out of her control. There is a cure for her illness but it's trapped in the lands she cannot reach; Chorus fruit that grows only in the end. The Withering Illness is further pushing her to complete her goal but in a rushed and panicked state, her future is looking grim.

Faux is very peppy and upbeat, almost in a forceful way that seems over the top/off-putting. She is often loud, rude and likes cracking jokes to diminish the seriousness of situations. To other mob-entities and creatures alike, Faux is considerate and kind, but when it comes to humans it's obvious Faux shows little respect and empathy for them.
Faux is an extremely hard worker, almost to a fault in getting everything done quickly and forgetting to enjoy things as she goes along. Once she has her mind on something; she’ll get it done quickly. One of her favorite things to do is go exploring underground and gather resources, explore caves and collect ore to hoard. Farming is another one of Faux’s favorite pastimes- whether it be crops or taking care of animals. It's not hard to imagine she really adores foxes, but fish, goats, cats and frogs are also some of her favorite creatures.
Unfortunately with all the positives, Faux has a lot of negatives. She is incredibly dismissive of others and is often dishonest. She tends to disregard anyone who doesn't agree with her and It's not a surprise she is defensive given her background. Faux is extremely motivated towards her goals and sees herself as some kind of ‘savior’ for creatures like her.
She holds a lot of negative feelings about herself from growing up so alone and has to often lie to herself to pick herself back up from feeling worthless and alone. Her front is very forceful and strong and it's not often she speaks of these…empty and sad feelings she holds.

design notes
- Her hands are paws and do not resemble human hands at all- they look as they are shown on the ref sheet. Her anatomy is also more fox-like than human or the typical ‘anthro’. She is literally just a fox who can walk on two legs lol.
- Doesn't wear shoes with her casual outfit. Only wears her armor when fighting but can always carry her weapon no matter what outfit!
- Hair slicks back like a mow-hawk, the little heart tuft in front is not optional and part of her design :]
- Faux is smaller than the average human.
