Ziel is extremely playful and affectionate with everyone. He loves to have fun and can't stand being serious for long. He's especially affectionate with Astaroth and loves when he gets attention from him.
He's impulsive at times and gets into trouble but it never bothers him because "it was fun".

Ziel is the subordinate of Knell, an Underworld prince. He is also a trained soldier specialising in ice magic under Knell's command. Ziel is very energetic, cheery and sociable. He is usually seen smiling, cooking, hanging out with friends or playing games and is extremely fond of sweets especially ice cream.

His demon form has neon blue eyes (black sclera only in his full demon form), black horns, black bat wings and a black tail with a heart-shaped tip (it has a blue flame surrounded by floating ice when he's at full power).

Boyfriend
Ziel's boyfriend and lover. Ziel's nickname for Astaroth is "Asta". He enjoys teasing him because it's easy to make him flustered. He's very affectionate towards Astaroth but strangely enough has trouble telling him that he loves him even when he really wants to tell him since he wasn't used to saying or hearing it due to his past relationships being short or only lasting one night.
Initially when they first met, he kept following Astaroth around out of curiosity and attempted to befriend him even after finding out Astaroth wasn't fond of ice cream (Which is fine. More ice cream for him anyway!). Ziel flirted with him to see if he could get a reaction and to his surprise, he did. They ended up sleeping with each other a couple of times before Astaroth confessed his feelings for Ziel and started dating.
Astaroth has a tendency to bite and lose himself in the moment when they get intimate. Ziel is aware of his habits and kinks and is okay with them. Occasionally, Ziel takes a female form and likes to try and seduce Astaroth when he's in the mood. Although Astaroth is the more dominant one in their relationship, there are times when Ziel steals that role from him.
There are a few things Astaroth doesn't know about Ziel's yet but he plans to reveal more when he's ready.

Astaroth and Ziel's son. He inheritted his cold, stubbornness from Astaroth and his playfulness from Ziel.
Superior
Enoch's future niece. He tried to brush her hair once and it ended up in disaster. His niece no longer trusts him to touch her hair.
Colleague
Whether he likes it or not, Ziel considers Zephon a friend. As kids, he would often follow Zephon around because he wanted to play with them or he didn't want to be alone. Although Zephon doesn't appear to show any affection he still looks out for Ziel as a friend and scolds him when necessary.
