Generally feisty and difficult to please, Amor is still worshiped as a very important all-seeing and all-knowing God among a humanoid species.
He doesn't take his duties seriously and he certainly doesn't mind lying and coming off better than he truly is to keep the image of his prowess on the up-and-up, having become quite spoiled by these humanoids (and to be honest, he definitely does not have the power to see and know all-- not by a long shot). And forget ever thinking you could demand the truth of him, he doesn't answer to anyone.

With or without his role as a spoiled, well-loved God, Amor feels he has a right to demand a lavish lifestyle to help 'attune' to his magics. It's unknown whether being given the finest, softest downs to sleep on and the sheerest, silkiest fabrics to wear, as well as a pick of several concubines truly does help, but he appreciates it nonetheless... And can get almost violent and rude if his way isn't given. However, when all seems well to him (in whatever tickles his fancy in the moment), he can come off cloyingly sweet and nearly charitable.

Sometimes in his delirium of pleasures he can't recall what his life was like before he was spotted and worshiped by the humanoids. Before this venture, he was mild-mannered and seemingly going through the motions of existence, perhaps not fully awakened. He would take orders, he would convene with his people, he would truly use his power...

His name is not his given one-- he doesn't have one, truthfully-- but rather the name his worshipers have given him for being intent on the pleasure of flesh and passion of emotion. Even when Amor doesn't mean it, his 'people' see the best in him, and think his mercurial attitude can be seen as dedication to his post. He will abuse this power until its stripped of him... If ever.
