"Maybe it's a dream, maybe nothing else is real, but it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel."
Renae is Runa's twin sister. At first for reasons unknown Renae was undetectable, invisible and unable to be heard, to everyone save for Runa and Elysia. The twins worked with this the best they could, but eventually it seemed like Runa left Renae behind leaving her to fend for herself in Horsehead Forest. After months of barely surviving Renae breaks out of the forest and her almost curse and soon finds Lamia and Dax, forming an alliance with them before taking the name Nauthen.
Renae is a well-built woman with a square face, brown skin and large nose who stands at 6'5"(~196 cm). She has long messy red hair that usually isn't styled and blue eyes. Renae always looks tired due to her constant mental exhaustion, and her dysphoria often leads to her wearing make-up(especially eye-liner) and keeping her hair long.
When she is with Dax and Lamia her main outfit is a black skin-tight suit with white thorny vines wrapping all around her limbs and neck, with the design giving them the appearance of sprouting from the rose on the back of the outfit. On the chest is a stylized crescent moon. On her face she wears a featureless fox-like mask.
When away, at first she dresses in black jeans, a black sports bra, a black jacket with yellow rings on shoulders and black boots. However she soon becomes uncomfortable with this outfit deciding to switch to a much more comfortable set. This set consists of a rose and moon themed black dress with a dark pink jacket, black and pink shoes and black tights.
A gentle giant, Renae only knows how to be awkward. Despite her massive size she is quite the pushover, it being rather easy to get her to do as you wish. A follower who has problems sticking up for herself. Looking at the soft-spoken, socially awkward woman and a distant woman she often is seen taking whatever is thrown at her with compliancy. However... With the right manipulation and circumstances however, it seems that even the most gentle will crack and the same is true for Renae, the worst being brought out of her as of late, tired of being pushed around and upset over things she's been convinced of. Renae has begun growing a spine in perhaps the worst way possible only further enabled by her most firey companion, Dax.
To be nice about it, Renae is dense to say the least. Things that aren't clear, slanging, flirting and jokes tend to go right over her head and into the ocean miles away from camp. It's rather easy to confuse her or have her take something the wrong way with how much simply just doesn't process too well in brain of hers. She tries her hardest, but it doesn't always work and to this day has trouble actually deciphering the meanings behind various things other people say.
Yet that isn't to say she's entirely brainless, just socially clueless. Renae is actually rather introspective and tends to do a lot of thinking. Often in her head trying to decipher her feelings about the world. However in recent times Renae hasn't been able to do much of her usual thinking.

- Renae was originally a Pokemon OC, based on the protag Aero from Pokemon Rejuvenation.
- Renae's jacket's shoulders are a reference to Umbreon and her patch is a reference to Zoroark.
- Renae is bilingual she can speak English and French.
- If Renae was a cat she'd be a longfurred rusted black cat.
- Renae would love games like Story of Seasons, Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley and Neko Atsume.
