Profile

I have this character since, approximately, August 2017. Now I think that the story ended completely, and I decided to bring Hoowr over here. I still like this character with its story, but it's kinda sad to remember how the cool roleplay faded (I liked it much: it was nice for my RP preferences, filled with different interactions, sudden twists, vary philosophy&action). Though I can retell something if someone will be interested in.

It is not important, but it's another story fact: Hoowr is technically a girl who has not feminine traits, and lives as a male, all the life, not caring about gender roles mostly.

Backstory

"A fallen star, the baby was a gift of the Moon Cat Goddess" - the abandoned baby was found on a mountain. There was based Khara-Baach -  orcs clan, they raised this one not like a pet, but like their kid. Unfortunately, in the beginning the baby was problematic because of uncontrolled shapeshifting. Being barely 3 years old Hoowr obtained control over it, but was preferring to keep a middle form, between  human and tiger.

The next important thing was the time of obligatory rituals, getting clan marks - tattoos on the chest, for relations with the clan ancient keepers Khara-Baach. Hoowr had very bad reactions to a paint and shamans' magic during that process. Recovering was happen in isolation.

Then a war started there, it destroyed the orcs' camp. The "odd teenager with stripes" stuck in the middle form because of stress, though the tiger-teenager craved to turn into the beast, and to fight. Hoowr was found being locked in a shelter, there the teen was cornered and caged. The invaders in Khara-Baach camp sold the wonderful but too mad find, Hoowr got to a ring, and had been gladiators' opponent in a show.

The odd looking teenager was a real berserk, and got many scars, but was not able to return shapeshifting control, even struggling hard. It had been Hoowr's new norm, and harsh show repetited often. Until an incident with the berserk, when Hoowr almost killed an opponent. That time a werebear (one from spectators) knocked out the berserk and bought Hoowr from there.

The next part of life Hoowr was working as a ratkiller. The savior worked as a guard in a brothel, and below the very roof Hoowr was based there. With time, the teen started to feel distance with the werebear, in all senses, this hopeless sadness gave Hoowr a decision to quit.

In a new place and state, the shapeshifter returned all the control, at last, when Hoowr meet another shapeshifter, a half-rakshasa guy, and got along with him. The friend was assisting in Hoowr's socialization and employment: they both were fishers and hunters, they worked this way for a village head during several months, then the black tiger obtained an enchanted crystal sword in a nearby forest, and started to learn how to use it properly. It gave Hoowr a path to become a legal guard, as this job was closer to the shapeshifter's hot temperament.

And even if it forced Hoowr to leave the white tiger friend, it gave confidence and new senses of life.
