Yukira/Yuki

Yukira is the only child of a large, profitable businessman during the prohibition era of 1920s America. She is expected for conform to society a certain way, and is being pressured by her father to marry, and soon, but she feels that this is not who she really is. Terrified of what her father will do if he finds out, Yukira keeps her secret, cross-dressing side away from prying eyes, only feeling like himself while in the local speakeasy frequented by more residents hiding other sides of themselves. While he may be a bit overexuberant with the drink, Yuki finds that the role he is allowed to fulfill while in the speakeasy, not the obedient daughter her father wishes her to be, is much more who he really is. Whether this is merely due to the expectations of society or Yuki wants to fully transition he does not know, but he is enjoying himself as much as he can in the safety of the speakeasy.
Yuki is not particularly good at keeping this secret from the other patrons, though everyone has secrets of their own. Ada discovers this and an idea forms- Ada is also Turing, a young businessman who could probably use the safety of acquiring a wife to shield him from prying rumors. He's also got this whole turf war between the mafia and russian mob but eh, I'm sure that part will work out. Either way, Turing sets up a date, which Yukira...does not take well seeing as she does not know he is also Ada. But after she discovers who Turing really is, can she keep the facade so they both can have the marriage of convenience to allow themselves to be who they truly wish to be?

Turing/Ada Known initially through the speakeasy but soon discover the double life each of them lead. Getting together makes sense for them both- both accept the double life they each lead, and this would allow them to go their seperate ways while maintaining the roles expected in their respective spotlights. However, Turing seems to have acquired some persnickity friends within the mafia and the mob, and Yukira's dad, well....let's just say he would not approve of either of their alternative lifestyles.
Yukira's Father Bad dad dad is bad. He expects Yukira to act the proper way as the daughter of a wealthy businessman, and when she doesn't do her duty he can and will punish her for it. She's always been independent and stubborn, though, so he doesn't believe his lessons always go through.(no page for him)
