Snow

Snow is a very old, cranky hyena. She was born in a Clan that was monitored by a human research group who fitted her with a radio collar. When drought struck her Clan they started dying en masse and were forced to resort to hunting human prey for food. After territorial disputes with humans led to her entire Clan being slaughtered, Snow became a wanderer, straying from place to place in search of food for years. She encountered a strange hyena named Star who had a jackal named Wild-Eyes for a traveling companion, and decided to travel with them as well. They are sheltering with the Clan of the Sun's Champions for now, but Snow is hoping to move on once the rains return.
