Salmonman is a superhero salmon who is the cartoon mascot of a chain fish restaurant that exists in Catband called Salmon Depot. He'll swim upstream for your savings! I can't remember all the slogans right now, but rest assured there are a lot of them, and they are all very cheesy (well, fishy). In Salmon Depot canon, Salmonman is always fighting the evil villain Captain Riptide.

Salmon Depot itself is forever feuding with a fast food breakfast place named Waffle Warehouse, despite not at all selling the same foods. It started years back over which restaurant created their superhero mascot first (the breakfast place has a dog for a mascot named Waffledog), and which is the copycat, but now they just hate each other forever. It got worse when the breakfast place started pushing bagels with lox and smoked salmon, and the fish place started opening for breakfast. It's a whole thing.
