Ketcha is a thoughtful and considerate aemu. They struggle to empathise, but sympathise deeply. They fawn in times of difficulty and often this can make things a lot harder than they needed to be. In times of stress they tend towards fighting or freezing, and are far more likely to join in with a physical contest, and shy away from a vocal argument.
A newbie in the local area. Ketcha recently left their clan alongside their sibling, Marsh. They care deeply for their sibling and want to keep them safe at all times, but struggle with balancing it with having their own life. Meeting Qin and their family has given them the first experience of truly being individual and independant, which they struggle to manage emotionally. They also struggle with the feeling they must always be looking over their shoulder. Hopefully, somehow, they'll manage to open up.
Having only just met Qin, Ketcha is of course tentative. But Ketcha feels secure being around Qin and Bokan together (safety in numbers and all that). Alongside the natural urge to be part of a group, Ketcha feels specificaly drawn to Qin.
Alongside Qin, Bokan gives Ketcha a sense of security. But something about the way Bokan ignores them in conversation, or sometimes gives odd snipes or comments makes Ketcha feel unsure if they're really welcome. In short, Bokan doesn't seem to like Ketcha for some reason, but Ketcha pushes their fears aside as paranoia.
Ketcha admires Woofe, but finds it hard to shift away from seeing Woofe as an elder. Despite the age gap between them being fairly small, Ketcha was taught strongly that older aemu are to always be trusted and this is almost exactly why Ketcha is so anxious around Woofe. They have unusual ways of showing this discomfort, though. And although their mind tells them to follow Woofe's every suggestion as gospel, they heart instead takes them in another direction.
