"Go on, praise me like a god!"
Pride, a creature of the physical manifestation of one of the 7 deadly sins, is a spoiled little brat, and got sick of being forgotten/getting less and less attention from humanity as it progresses into modern times, where people are occupied with more important things than thinking about a god they've probably never heard about. pride is pissed about this, and sends a large golden beam through the clouds down to earth. this sends widespread news around the world, everybody wondering and coming to their own conclusion of what the FUCK happened there. aliens, a sign of god himself, divine intervention, a sign of end-times, etc etc. basically, it sent people into hysterics and caused a fuckton of trouble.
Pride's punishment from higher forces for essentially causing widespread panic is to be banished down to earth for an indefinite ammount of time trapped in a mortal human disguise with significantly weakened powers to almost a pathetic level, and he's only accepted back once he cleans up his mess first and learns from this experience. the other 6 sins are also sent down to earth as in a "go help your shitty little sibling fix this chaos" way, and they're not exactly thrilled about it. eventually not even helping anymore and just following their own sinful nature and doing fuckall in their own little areas they got dropped off at. some are neutral about it, some are annoyed, and others are fucking PISSED at him. all sins are considered "lesser gods" and have a somewhat stained image in the eyes of higher forces for embodying the worst humanity has to offer, so they don't exactly care much about them to an extend except when they royally fuck up i guess
on pride's journey to unfuck the world he picks up an assortment of companions and accidentally found-family's them
one of his first companions is a character named Sam Bhargava, they're a nonbinary lesbian who had to drop out of college because of the chaos and got intertwined in pride's buisness on their way home
DESIGN
- - Pride's "true" human disguise looks more doll-like. He makes commonplace people see it with more realistic proportions. (Sam can see him like truly is.)
- - His primary detail color is orange. Every sin has a specific color dedicated to their own design that differenciates them from one another.

RELATIONSHIPS
Pride's bestie!!! They don't really get along at first but over the course of the story become almost inseperable. Dumb and dumber dynamic frfr with how much they cause trouble.
Fuck this guy. Pride and Wrath despise eachother with a burning passion and keep getting into fights whenever they're in the same place. Wrath is fucking PISSED they have to hang out on earth because their shitty sibling fucked up so bad.
The cool sister. An eventual ally of Pride's little group, both because she sees that he's genuinely regretful about what he did, and also cause she wants to go home asap. Used to let him get away with stuff but was speechless at what Pride did.
Sloth has the strongest sibling connection with Pride. Her stony body cracking and falling apart, yet Pride offers to help her pick up all their pieces and put them back where they belong. Despite Pride's huge ego, he deeply cares about her.
